N255m Armoured Cars: Police arrest Dino Melaye for protesting against Stella Oduah
Former House of Reps member and Executive Director, Anti-Corruption Network, Dino Melaye had been arrested by the Nigerian police led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Sunday Olukoya.
Melaye was arrested during a protest he headlined at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja this afternoon.
He and his protesters were calling for the sack of the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, over the purchase of two BMW armoured cars.
However, the police arrived at the scene, arrested Dino Melaye and his men and took them away in a Toyota Hilux van, marked NPS 21280.
