Kris Kross rapper, Chris Kelly dies at 34

Chris Kelly popularly known as Mac Daddy, of the 90′s hip-hop group Kriss Kross, has died at the age of 34.
DailyPost has gathered that the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office announced that the 34-year-old rapper was pronounced dead at about 5:00 pm on Wednesday after being taken to Atlanta Medical Center when found unresponsive at his home.
Authorities have stated that the cause of his death had not been ascertained yet, as autopsy is yet to be carried out on him. However, sources said his death may not be unconnected to drug overdose.
A statement released by his mother, Donna Kelly Pratte, and The So So Def Family, read thus “It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Chris Kelly has passed away on May 1. To millions of fans worldwide, he was the
trendsetting, backwards pants-wearing one-half of Kris Kross who loved making music.
“But to us, he was just Chris – the kind, generous and fun-loving life of the party.
Though he was only with us a short time, we feel blessed to have been able to share some incredible moments with him. His legacy will live on through his music, and we will forever love him.”
