Another Actor, Gbenga Oyeyiga, batters wife (Photos)

On Sunday January 13, 2013 Yoruba Actor Gbenga Oyeyiga allegedly battered his wife Lolade (a banker) – as a result of the merciless beatings, she has been hospitalised for more than 3weeks.
According to reports ”Gbenga pounced on his wife on this fateful day after taking some glasses of McDowell. He accused her of having an affair with his marketer(Epsalum) which was later debunked when Epsalum swore with the Holy Quran.
“The incident gave her internal head bleeding and almost led to brain damage was reported and documented at the Police station in Egbe-ikotun.”
Close friends of Lolade disclosed that “the January beating was not the first time as he had battered her severally in the past”
as a result, Gbenga has charged with battery.
Also, Lolade has moved out of her matrimonial home and now lives with the couple’s only child.

Look, it’s about time the federal and state government start to prosecute this wife and child abuser with a heavy penalty.
If someone beat his sister, he would go out there to defend her so our wives are not a punching bag they are our friend, mother, sister and our companion who should be treated with respect at all times.
There is no excuse for a domestic violence.
