Nigerian top footballer, Mikel Obi was recently duped of N100m and to think that, one of his close friends carried out the action
Ladun Liadi reports that the footballer was duped by a close friend after he was shown a property to buy. On falling in love with the property, Mikel Obi gave the alleged friend a check of N100m to purchase it for him (Mikel).
Everything went on as planned until the supposed friend cashed out the money and disappeared into thin air.
Confirming the story, a close source says “Mikel still finds it difficult to believe, they were very close…the so-called friend is no longer seen in town and his phone numbers have been unreachable.”
