Kanye West buys $1 million bomb-proof trucks to protect his family
36-year-old rapper, Kanye West, recently ordered two custom made armored vehicles from Latvia’s Dartz Motorz Company, for his baby mama, Kim Kardashian and few months old daughter, North West.
West reportedly ordered the vehicles called the Prombron Iron Diamond, which each cost him $1 million.
The armored vehicles are reportedly “made to withstand attacks from landmines and rocket-propelled grenades,” Vibe.com reports.
West reportedly wants to ensure that his family wants to receive the best protection available.
“Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths,” a source close to the rapper reportedly told The Daily Star. “He aims to leave nothing to chance.”
West revealed his thoughts about fatherhood in a previous interview with The New York Times.
“One of the things … just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that,” West said in the interview before welcoming his child into the world. “I don’t want to explain too much into what my thoughts on, you know, fatherhood are, because I’ve not fully developed those thoughts yet. I don’t have a kid yet.”
Kardashian,the 32-year-old “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, gave birth to the couple’s daughter North West on June 15.
